Peter joined Global Switch as Chief Operating Officer in 2024, bringing with him over 30 years of experience managing global engineering and technology organisations, scaling businesses, transforming operations and building high-performance teams.
Before joining Global Switch, Peter worked with emerging technology company, Tevva Hydrogen Electric Trucks. He initially joined as COO, but after driving an organisational redesign, reshaping the operating model and building strength into functional teams, he was promoted to CEO.
Previously, Peter worked in a series of senior roles within Ford and Jaguar Land Rover - most recently as Jaguar Land Rover's Global Powertrain Operations Director. His responsibilities ran from internal combustion engine powertrain and electric propulsion systems covering strategy, to operations, manufacturing engineering and delivery across the UK, China and India.
He holds a BEng (Hons) in Combined Technologies and Microelectronics, and an MBA in Management from Henley Business School.
As Chief Operating Officer for Global Switch, his focus is on driving the operational performance and excellence of Global Switch’s data centres, as well as focusing on the smooth delivery of its developments and various power densification projects. Peter also oversees all new development opportunities and directs the IT strategy across all areas of the business.
