Ross joined Global Switch in September 2024 as Group Operations Director bringing with him over two decades of critical infrastructure experience.
Before joining Global Switch, Ross was Senior Director of Global Operations Engineering at Equinix - the world's largest provider of colocation and interconnection services. Over his career spanning more than twenty-five years, he has held various leadership positions in global data centre organisations, amassing a wealth of front-line critical infrastructure experience.
But his knowledge doesn’t stop there, he also has expertise in organisational leadership, operational excellence and people development. As a key member of the Global Engineering leadership team, Ross was responsible for providing strategic direction to over 200 data centres globally, and has transitioned more than 500MW of data centre capacity from construction into operation.
Ross’ appointment to the Global Switch team is integral to our continued growth strategy. His extensive experience and strong technical capabilities will be pivotal in bridging the gap between our strategic vision and operational success as he leads our Global Operations (Critical Environments, Procurement and Physical Security and Safety) colleagues to drive business excellence.
